Air out as often as possible to keep the wool garment clean. Use a soft garment brush to gently brush the surface of the wool to remove lint and hair. To keep your sweater looking sharp, brush regularly. We recommend that you storage the sweater lightly folded on a shelf, in a cool, dry place. Do not keep knitted mohair garment on a hanger – or it will stretch. Remember to give your sweater a rest day between uses so it can return to its original shape.

Wash instructions:

Small stains can be removed immediately with, for example, bile soap, and avoid machine washing. If machine wash is necessary, we recommend a gentle wool program and a wool detergent. Wash inside out with with similar colors. Do not bleach, or use fabric softener. Don’t fill the washer too full. Do not tumble dry. Warm iron on reverse. Do not dry clean. Lay flat to dry.

Do not dry in direct sunlight or on a radiator.

Please note:

It is typical for soft knitwear to pill. The surface of the mohair is soft and delicate; backpack and bag straps, as well as seat belts, can wear up the surface. Pills can be removed by gently brushing with a cashmere comb, lint remover, or carefully with a blade without damaging the fibers. If loops of yarn get loose, pull them back carefully on the inside of the sweater.

Dirty wool attracts moths. For long-term storage, we recommend an airtight bag or box to protect the knit from pests.
